Tower inside

Inside the tower itself, if you look up, you will see two coats of arms - a lion with two tails - this is the symbol of the Czech and the Wenceslas eagle on a yellow background. And also note that there are many times depicted a bird in a wreath. This is kingfisher - is the symbol of Wenceslas IV, the son of Charles IV. It was he who became the next ruler of the country.

And also notice the blond girl in a white dress. She is shown in lingerie! Previously, women could never be depicted wearing underwear. It was very embarrassing, but this girl, Suzanna, was the bath attendant and the mistress of Wenceslas IV.

Here is the love history:

In fact, Wenceslas was not a very good ruler. He was a very weak ruler. And most importantly, he drank a lot. He was an alcoholic and was incapable of ruling a kingdom. Some nobles were very angry with him and decided to make a coup to remove him from power, so they put him in prison. Of course, Vaclav did not like being in prison. He woke up from drunkenness and began shouting very loudly from the tower window, calling for help. And the bathhouse attendant Susana decided to help him. Vaclav jumped into the water. She helped him aboard her boat and took him far away. For this, he made her his beloved woman and the main bathhouse attendant of the city. He built a large bathhouse for her not far from Charles Bridge.
