The lattice of your right

Please note on your right side there is a lattice on which the bas-relief of John of Nepomuk glitters in gold. This is the most important Saint and patron saint of the Czech. A story about him - at your next stop. He was once a priest and did not reveal the secret of confession to the king. For this he was executed. His body was thrown from this bridge into the river in exactly this place where the lattice now stands.

Some of the space on the grill is golden. This is because many people rub this place and make wishes. You can do it here too. Or at your next stop. It will be a sculpture of this saint.
