Sigmund Freud

Look ahead of you. Do you see anything unusual?

At the top between the houses there is a man hanging from a stick. He holds his hand on a stick and hangs above the street. Who is it?

And this is again the work of David Black, our famous scandalous sculptor, who created the sculpture of St. Wenceslas riding an inverted horse. Here, above this street, he hanged the scientist Sigmund Freud. It must be said that Freud was born in the Czech (or in Bohemia) and considered himself an Austrian.

You can consider the idea of this monument in different ways, for example, that hanging over an abyss, a person himself makes a choice - to fall or hold. But as the author of the project himself said: “My viewers themselves come up with the meaning of my works. But they just come to my mind interesting ideas and I bring them to life."
