Middle of Wenceslas Square

In the middle od Wenceslas Square there is a tram rails (perpendicular to the square). On the right and on the left of you - there are old stone towers. That’s, what only left from ancient wall, which had surrounded the old city from enemies. But over time the place inside town run out, and citizens hade made decision to remove wall so that expand their city.

The towers were left for keeping order in the city. The soldiers were on duty there. For example, they watched out if fire didn’t start somewhere. In this case the soldiers must ring the bell to inform citizens about it and ask for help them.

Today inside right one tower there is a restaurant now and abserving point.
