Look diagonally to the left. If you are listening to this tour in winter, there are no leaves on the trees. You will see a hill covered with trees diagonally to the left. If there are no leaves on the trees, then a white wall running along the edge of the hill is clearly visible.
This wall has a name - "hungry wall". There is such a legend: during the reign of Charles IV there was a year of famine, people had nothing to eat. They began to come to the king and ask him for bread or money. But he said that he would not give them alms, like beggars, but would pay for their work - he said, build me a wall around Prague. Then people got to work, building the wall. And since the reason was hunger, the wall was called the "hungry wall".
Also, on the top of the hill you can see our "Prague’s Eiffel tower". After the tower appeared in Paris, the Czechs wanted to build the same one in this city. But there was much less money, so it was only enough for a five-times smaller copy. However, they built it very smart - only the top of the head on the hill. It should look to everyone that the bottom of the tower is also there, but it is covered by trees, that’s why it is not visible. And if you will measure it from sea level - this one tower is higher than the Parisian one.
